Caregiver Stations

Caregiver Stations

Let’s face it, it is certainly more than a nurses’ station. It is used by nurses’, doctors, interns, and anyone else who may be on the clinical floor, including patients and their family members seeking information. It’s a care giver station.

To provide long term solutions for facilities, caregiver stations need to durable, promote work efficiency, seamlessly integrate technology and flexible to meet the ever changing needs of today’s healthcare facilities. They are the hub of activity and information for everything happening on the clinical floor and must be designed with high level of thought and attention.

Caregiver spaces need to be designed with thought to access to storage, ergonomics and must fluidly support the workflow of a clinical nursing floor.

A caregiver station needs:

• To accommodate continuous workflow
• To accept new and emerging technology
• To provide collaborative space and private space
• To respond to varying users and types of work
